*介紹各種與資訊活動相關的人類行為理論。
*了解有關人們在搜尋、取得、處理、與使用資訊活動中的行為與心理。
*探討特定族群的資訊需求與行為特徵。
*了解有關個體如何接收與同化資訊的心智活動歷程。
*探討資訊行為與資訊系統、資訊服務之關聯。
